Drawing from nearly three decades of experience in Open Source and Linux ecosystems, I've developed deep expertise in IT infrastructure design, implementation, and management across Linux/Unix, Apple, and Microsoft environments. My journey in IT began in the mid-1990s at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. As an independent consultant, I provided small businesses with preventive maintenance, custom consulting, web development, and cloud migration services.
I have embraced the digital nomad lifestyle with my amazing wife & partner, Karen Pope Cannady, since recovering from artificial disc replacement spinal fusion surgery in late 2022. We maintain our Texas residency through the Escapees Domicle program while working remotely with clients across the globe.
